A Visit to Kuantan 3/01/2010
Sifu Jimmy and handful of us payed a visit to Yi Quan Practitioners in Kuantan, Pahang, upon the request of Master Song on the 3rd of January 2010, Sunday. At the same time Sifu Jimmy is interviewed by a reporter from Oriental Daily, Kuantan Division. The reporter had a taste of I Liq Chuan sticky hands, and Malaysian I Liq Chuan History from Master Jimmy, Student Seth Chin and Student Chow Wai Yip.
We students of both different discipline exchange push hands skills in a friendly polite way after the interview, Sifu Jimmy explain to the Yi Quan students, the difference between Yi Quan push hands and I Liq Chuan push hands, that every individual practitioners have different "feel" and "skills" even from the same school; just like young children goes to school, and each children studies the same subject does not mean getting the same score in exam or homework.
